I love fire. Not in a creepy way, but I love lighting candles and smelling the incredible aromas available in various scents. Fire gives us warmth and light. It allows us to become transfixed at a campfire or by a fireplace or woodstove. The smoldering embers allow us to find a sense of peace. It often helps us to put our troubles into perspective. For those who smoke, fire helps light cigarettes and cigars. I haven’t smoked in a very long time and don’t plan on picking that habit back up. But the thing about the fire that I love the most is the inner fire inside all of us.
All of us can shine a light on those around us in our acts of kindness and generosity. The fire inside us is a passion that can be stoked or smothered. We can incite positive or negative changes depending on the situation. The choice is ours.
Today’s blog has an abridged version. Find the things you are passionate about and make them happen. If you don’t know how to do something, be open to learning. Don’t make excuses but rather find solutions. You might find that the fire inside you is something others share. Learning to express our thoughts is a scary concept. But the result can produce some of the most incredible changes in our lives. Don’t be afraid to let the fire inside you roar. Have a great day, everyone.
